After completing the Staticline Groundschool and First Jump, the AFF Progression is begun with a comprehensive Conversion Class lasting a few hours. Then you make your first AFF jump: Level 1!!!

Ten Levels is all it takes for you to graduate from Student to Intermediate and be certified as a safe and independent Skydiver!

Requirements for AFF Programme:

• There is a maximum weight limit of 105kgs
• You will require parental consent if you are under the age of 18
• The minimum age is 16
• Must have completed the Static Line First Jump Course and jump

The most thrilling introduction to skydiving!

Leap from altitude securely attached to an experienced instructor! Enjoy a Freefall of at least 35 seconds followed by 3-5 minute parachute ride to a gentle landing! A 20 minute scenic flight, with fantastic views of the Breede River Valley, Winelands and Cape Fold Mountains, follows a short briefing by your Instructor. Then…it's TIME!

They will securely connect your harness to theirs, check everything and then, with your eyes open and a big smile, "Wahooo!" out you go!!! With little falling sensation, it is more like floating than falling, yet one is whistling Earthward at more than 200kmh! Quite indescribable! Once the parachute is open all is calm, quiet and peaceful allowing one to begin to absorb the enormity of the occasion. After practicing for the landing, and enjoying the scenery from the perspective of a bird, in you are returned to Earth. High fives, hugs and smiles, a certificate and an incredible feeling of wellbeing result!

The Staticline First Jump Course and jump are a great introduction to Skydiving, especially if you think you may want to become a Skydiver! Great for Teambuilds too! After your First Jump you can continue with the Staticline to Freefall Progression en route to becoming a Certified Skydiver!
